هذِهِ الدُّنْيا بِلاَ رَيْ

هذِهِ الدُّنْيا بِلاَ رَيْ

بٍ لدارِ الْخُلْدِ ضُرَّه

بٍ لدارِ الْخُلْدِ ضُرَّه

This world is, without doubt,

This fleeting world without doubt

a rival wife to the abode of eternity.

Is but briefly enjoyed on our route

طَلِّقِ الدُّنيا إذا رُمْ

طَلِّقِ الدُّنيا إذا رُمْ

تَ مَنَالاً للْمَسَرَّه

تَ مَنَالاً للْمَسَرَّه

Divorce this world if you wish

To eternal life and salvation

to attain joy.

So leave it behind for that destination
