The eyelid of knowledge streams with tears at your parting.

And what was sweet in it is salty after your departure.

Where are the sciences, and how has the earth concealed them?

And stones and slabs have come to lie over them.

O you who walked the paths of humility in reverence,

The face of time is grim at the loss of your face.
