خَيْرُthe finest الْبِلادthe lands بأسْرِهاin their entirety صَنْعاSana'a
خَيْرُ الْبِلاد بأسْرِها صَنْعا
فِيماin what يَرُوقُdelights الطَّرْفَthe eye والسَّمْعاand hearing
فِيما يَرُوقُ الطَّرْفَ والسَّمْعا
Sana'a is the finest of all lands
The best of all lands in their entirety
in what delights the eye and the ear.
In what delights the eye and hearing
قُومُواrise (you all) بِناwith us طَالَhas been long الْفِراقُthe separation لَهاfrom her
قُومُوا بِنا طَالَ الْفِراقُ لَها
قُومُواrise (you all) إلىَto أَرْجائِهاher reaches نَسْعَىwe hasten
قُومُوا إلىَ أَرْجائِها نَسْعَى
Rise with us; our separation from her has been long.
Rise with us, for separation from it has been long
Rise; let us hasten to her reaches.
Rise, let us hasten to its outskirts
