لَعَلّهاperhaps it أَنْthat تَنْجليwill clear away لَعَلّهاperhaps it
لَعَلّها أَنْ تَنْجلي لَعَلّها
فَكَمْfor how many رَأَيْتُI have seen ماwhat تَجَلَّىcleared away قَبْلَهاbefore it
فَكَمْ رَأَيْتُ ما تَجَلَّى قَبْلَها
Perhaps it will clear away—perhaps it will.
Perhaps it will clear, perhaps it will
For how many troubles I have seen clear away before it.
For how much have I seen clear before it
عَوَّدَنيhas accustomed me اللهُGod لِكُلّfor every كُرْبَةٍaffliction
عَوَّدَني اللهُ لِكُلّ كُرْبَةٍ
ماnot نَزَلَتْbefell بيupon me قَطُّever إلاّexcept حَلَّهاHe relieved it
ما نَزَلَتْ بي قَطُّ إلاّ حَلَّها
God has accustomed me to this with every affliction:
God has accustomed me to every sorrow
None has ever befallen me without His relieving it.
None has befallen me except it dissolves
