Your pearl-strung verse, O son of the noblest, has arrived;
Your system, O son of the two most honorable ones, has come;
The best of loving fathers gave it as a gift to a son.
The best of noble fathers gifted it to his son,

May you never cease to rend the hide of ignorance from a band of men
You keep tearing the endless ignorance of the ignorant
Who do not know the difference between coinage and short-legged sheep.
Who can’t tell the difference between criticism and vitriol,

Without you, the judiciary in this age would have become a plaything—
Were it not for you, justice in this age would become
Politics in the name of the law of the One, the Only One.
Politics in the name of the One God,

So may God keep you alive to revive its ethics,
Familiar landmarks, and guard the faith against crookedness.
And guard religion from ruination.
