أَيَا رَبِّ هَلْ مِنْ نُصْرَةٍ لشَرِيعَةٍ

أَيَا رَبِّ هَلْ مِنْ نُصْرَةٍ لشَرِيعَةٍ

أَتانَا بِها عَنْكَ الرَّسولُ المطَهَّرُ

أَتانَا بِها عَنْكَ الرَّسولُ المطَهَّرُ

O Lord, is there any aid for the sacred law

O Lord, is there no aid for the Law

that the purified Messenger brought us from You?

That your pure Messenger brought to us?

غَدَتْ لُعْبَةً ما بَيْنَ قَوْمٍ تَضاحَكوا

غَدَتْ لُعْبَةً ما بَيْنَ قَوْمٍ تَضاحَكوا

بِها وبِمَن يَدْعُو إليْها ويَأْمُرُ

بِها وبِمَن يَدْعُو إليْها ويَأْمُرُ

It became a plaything among people who laughed in scorn

It has become a plaything passed between a people who jest

at it and at whoever calls to it and enjoins it.

With it and with him who calls to it and commands it.

يَقُومُونَ في نَصْرِ الْقَوِيِّ فكُلُّهُمْ

يَقُومُونَ في نَصْرِ الْقَوِيِّ فكُلُّهُمْ

لَهُ وَعَلَى ذِي الضَّعْفِ نارٌ تُسَعَّرُ

لَهُ وَعَلَى ذِي الضَّعْفِ نارٌ تُسَعَّرُ

They rise in support of the strong; all of them

They rally to aid the strong, all of them,

are on his side, and a blazing fire against the weak.

Against the weak a fire is kindled and blazes.

إذَا غُلِبوا لا يَغْدرونَ بذِمَّةٍ

إذَا غُلِبوا لا يَغْدرونَ بذِمَّةٍ

وإن غَلَبُوا يَؤْماً فبالغَدْر يَغْدُروا

وإن غَلَبُوا يَؤْماً فبالغَدْر يَغْدُروا

When they are defeated, they do not break a covenant;

If they are defeated they do not betray a pledge,

and if they prevail one day, they betray treacherously.

But if they are victorious, treacherously they betray.

وإن قَدَرُوا تاهُوا عَلَى كُلِّ فاضِلٍ

وإن قَدَرُوا تاهُوا عَلَى كُلِّ فاضِلٍ

وإنْ كانَ ذُو حَقٍّ فلِلحَقِّ يُنكروا

وإنْ كانَ ذُو حَقٍّ فلِلحَقِّ يُنكروا

And if they have power, they act haughtily toward every virtuous person.

If they have power they go astray, over every virtuous man,

And if someone has a rightful claim, they deny that right.

And if he has a right, they deny his right.

أيا رَبِّ لا تُمْهِلْهُمُ منْ عُقُوبَةٍ

أيا رَبِّ لا تُمْهِلْهُمُ منْ عُقُوبَةٍ

فإنَّكَ إنْ تُمْهِلْهُمُ الْيَوْمَ يَبْطَروا

فإنَّكَ إنْ تُمْهِلْهُمُ الْيَوْمَ يَبْطَروا

O Lord, do not grant them respite from punishment,

O Lord, do not give them respite from punishment,

for if You grant them respite today, they will grow insolent.

For if You give them respite today, they transgress.

فَقَدْ شَرعُوا في هَدْمِ شِرْعَةِ أحْمَدٍ

فَقَدْ شَرعُوا في هَدْمِ شِرْعَةِ أحْمَدٍ

وأنْتَ لَها يا رَبِّ تَحْمِي وتنْصُرُ

وأنْتَ لَها يا رَبِّ تَحْمِي وتنْصُرُ

For they have begun demolishing Ahmad's sacred law,

They have begun to demolish the Law of Ahmad,

and You, O Lord, protect and support it.

While You, O Lord, protect it and bring it victory.
