قَدِمْتَ خَيْرَ مَقْدَمِ

يا ذَا الْعُلَى والْكَرَمِ

يا ذَا الْعُلَى والْكَرَمِ

Most welcome is your arrival,

You have come with the best arrival

O possessor of eminence and generosity.

Oh you of highness and generosity

ولا بَرِحْتَ دائماً

ولا بَرِحْتَ دائماً

مُصاحَباً بالنّعَمِ

مُصاحَباً بالنّعَمِ

And may you always remain

And you have always remained

accompanied by blessings.

إنْ غِبْتَ عَنِّي ساعَةً

إنْ غِبْتَ عَنِّي ساعَةً

كانَتْ كَعامٍ أَعْوَمِ

كانَتْ كَعامٍ أَعْوَمِ

If you are absent from me for an hour,

If you were absent from me for an hour

it is like a long, drawn-out year.

It was like a blind year

وإنْ وَصَلْتَ واصَلَتْ

وإنْ وَصَلْتَ واصَلَتْ

نِي عِنْدَ ذاكَ نِعَمي

نِي عِنْدَ ذاكَ نِعَمي
