أَلاَLo! قُلْsay لِشَيْخِto the shaykh of الْمُسْلِمِينَthe Muslims مُحَمّدٍMuhammad
أَلاَ قُلْ لِشَيْخِ الْمُسْلِمِينَ مُحَمّدٍ
حَلِيفِthe ally of التُّقَىpiety والزُّهْدِand asceticism بَدْرِfull moon تِمامِfullness
حَلِيفِ التُّقَى والزُّهْدِ بَدْرِ تِمامِ
Lo, say to Muhammad, the shaykh of the Muslims,
Say to the Sheikh of Muslims, Muhammad,
the ally of piety and asceticism, a moon in its fullness.
