لَعَمْرُby the life of أبيكَyour father دِينُthe religion of الرَّافِضيناthe Rafidis
Hideous—no hideous thing can match it—
Repulsive is he, none compares in vileness
by your father's life, is the religion of the Rafidis.
By your father’s life, despicable is the creed of the Rafidites
أَذَاعُواthey spread فيabout عَليٍّAli كُلَّevery نكْرٍoutrageous thing
وأَخْفَوْاand they concealed منamong فَضائِلِهِhis virtues الْيَقِيناwhat is certain
They spread every outrageous thing about Ali,
They spread about Ali every slander
And concealed what was certain among his virtues.
And concealed his outstanding merits, indeed
وسَبُّواand they reviled لاَرُعُواmay they go unprotected أصْحابَthe companions of طَهَTaha
وَعادَواand they were hostile to مَنْwhoever عَدَاهُمْwas other than them أجْمَعِيناall
And reviled—may they go unprotected—the companions of Taha,
They cursed and did not respect the Companions of Taha (Prophet Muhammad)
And were hostile to everyone but themselves.
And were hostile to all who opposed them
وَقَالُواand they said دِينُهُمْtheir religion دِينٌa religion قَوِيمٌupright
أَلاlo لَعَنَmay curse الإِلَهُGod الكاذِبِيناthe liars
And said their religion was an upright religion.
And claimed their religion to be upright
Lo, may God curse the liars!
Verily, God has cursed the liars
