Do not concern yourself with dress; for every man of

merit, you find his rags more ennobling.

Whoever seeks a great thing, incapable

of bearing it, and attains it, grows weak because of it.

Whoever does not drive his watcher from a spring pasture

where he meets his gazelle has gone raiding on his watcher's behalf.

In a man's repose, and in his refreshing

his heart and mind, lies a plague for him.
