أَدِمْ عَلَيْنا نِعَمَكْ

أَدِمْ عَلَيْنا نِعَمَكْ

اِدْفَعْ إلهِي نِقَمَكْ

اِدْفَعْ إلهِي نِقَمَكْ

Sustain Your blessings upon us.

Avert Your punishments, my God.

وَفِّرْ عَلَيْنا قِسَمَكْ

وَفِّرْ عَلَيْنا قِسَمَكْ

ما أَكْرَمَكْ ما أَعْظَمَكْ

ما أَكْرَمَكْ ما أَعْظَمَكْ

Make Your allotted gifts abundant for us.

How generous You are! How great You are!

أَعْطَيْتَني الجَليلاَ

أَعْطَيْتَني الجَليلاَ

مَنَحْتَنِي الجَزِيلا

مَنَحْتَنِي الجَزِيلا

You have given me great gifts,

You have bestowed abundance upon me,

سَوَّغْتَني الجَمِيلا

سَوَّغْتَني الجَمِيلا

تَفَضُّلاً وطَوْلا

تَفَضُّلاً وطَوْلا

You have let me enjoy what is good,

out of grace and bounty.

بأيّ لَفْظٍ أَشْكُرُكْ

بأيّ لَفْظٍ أَشْكُرُكْ

بِأَيِّ حَمْدٍ أَذْكُرُكْ

بِأَيِّ حَمْدٍ أَذْكُرُكْ

With what words can I thank You?

With what praise can I remember You?

بِأَيِّ مَدْحٍ أُكْبِرُكْ

بِأَيِّ مَدْحٍ أُكْبِرُكْ

الحَمْدُ للرَّحْمَنِ

الحَمْدُ للرَّحْمَنِ

With what praise can I exalt You?

Praise be to the All-Merciful,

والشُّكْرُ للدَّيَانِ

والشُّكْرُ للدَّيَانِ

والْمَدْحُ للْمَنّانِ

والْمَدْحُ للْمَنّانِ

and thanks to the Requiter,

and praise to the Bestower,

عَلَى العَطا الهَتّانِ

عَلَى العَطا الهَتّانِ

حَمْداً يَفُوتُ الحَصْرا

حَمْداً يَفُوتُ الحَصْرا

for bounty pouring down like rain:

praise beyond all counting,

شُكْراً يَفُوقُ الدُّرّا

شُكْراً يَفُوقُ الدُّرّا

thanks surpassing pearls.
