إنْif لَمْnot تُجِبْنيyou answer me فَعَدْلُthen it is justice
وإنْand if أَجَبْتَyou answer ففَضْلُthen it is grace
If you do not answer me, that is justice;
And if you answer, that is grace.
إنْif كُنْتُI am لَسْتُI am not بأَهْلٍworthy
فأنْتَthen you للفَضْلِof grace أَهْلُworthy
If I am not worthy,
Then it befits you to show grace.
مَنْwhoever كانَis يَرْجُوhoping for نِداكَyour bounty
فَإنَّهُthen indeed he لاnot يَمَلُّgrows weary
Whoever hopes for your bounty
Never grows weary.
