والنَّفْسُ والشَّيْطانُ بال

والنَّفْسُ والشَّيْطانُ بال

ذَّنْبِ والشَّهْوَةُ بَغْياً مِنْهُمُ بَغْياَ

ذَّنْبِ والشَّهْوَةُ بَغْياً مِنْهُمُ بَغْياَ

And the soul and Satan, through the

The soul and Satan are blameless

Sin, and desire—wrongdoing from them, wrongdoing.

Of sin, and desire causes rebellion in them

ومَالِكَ الْمَوْتِ بمَوْتٍ كَذَا

ومَالِكَ الْمَوْتِ بمَوْتٍ كَذَا

حافِظُهُ مَهْما أَتَى شَيّا

حافِظُهُ مَهْما أَتَى شَيّا

And the master of death, through a death, likewise,

And the owner of death, with death likewise

His guardian, whatever he may have done.

Preserves it however much evil may come
