إذَاif أَثْنَىpraises عَلَيْكَupon you فَتىًa young man بِماfor what لاnot
تَكُونُyou are بِهِof it حَقِيقاًworthy فيin الْحَقِيقَهْtruth
If a young man praises you for what you are not
in truth worthy of,
فَعُقْبَىthen the outcome أَمْرِهِhis conduct ذَمٌّblame فَظِيعٌdreadful
يَجِيءُhe comes بِهِwith it إليْكَto you بِلاwithout طَرِيقَهْa method
then the outcome of his conduct is dreadful blame,
which he brings to you without method.
