قَبَّحَ اللهُ هِمَّةً تَتَسامَى

قَبَّحَ اللهُ هِمَّةً تَتَسامَى

عَنْ كِبارِ الأَقْدارِ دُونَ الصِّغارِ

May God make hideous a beard that holds itself above

May God disgrace an ambition that holds itself aloof
