حَفِظَ الهُ عُلاكا

حَفِظَ الهُ عُلاكا

وَحَماكا وَرَعَاكا

وَحَماكا وَرَعَاكا

May God preserve your eminence,

May God protect your highness

and protect you and watch over you.

And keep you safe and well

وسَلاَمٌ مِنْ سَلامٍ

وسَلاَمٌ مِنْ سَلامٍ

حَلّ في سُوح رُباكا

حَلّ في سُوح رُباكا

And a greeting of peace from peace

Peace descends

has settled in the courts of your hills.

In the meadows of your Lord

صَدَرَتْ نُزْهَةُ طَرْفٍ

صَدَرَتْ نُزْهَةُ طَرْفٍ

لَمْ تَؤُمْ قَطُّ سِواكا

لَمْ تَؤُمْ قَطُّ سِواكا

A delight for the eye has set forth,

A gentle gaze emerged

never bound for anyone but you.

That has never seen the like of you

ساقَها مِنْكَ كَمالٌ

ساقَها مِنْكَ كَمالٌ

فَأرادَتْ أنْ تَراكا

فَأرادَتْ أنْ تَراكا

Perfection in you led it onward,

Its perfection comes from you

so it wished to see you.

So it wanted to see you

نَفْحَةُ الرَّيْحانَةِ الغَنّ

نَفْحَةُ الرَّيْحانَةِ الغَنّ

اءِ فاحَتْ بِعُلاكا

اءِ فاحَتْ بِعُلاكا

A fragrant breath of luxuriant sweet basil

The breeze of the singing jasmine

spread its fragrance at your exalted station.

Blew about your highness

فَأَدِرْ طَرْفَكَ فيها

فَأَدِرْ طَرْفَكَ فيها

إنّها أَهْلٌ لِذاكا

إنّها أَهْلٌ لِذاكا

So turn your gaze upon it;

So turn your gaze to it

it is indeed worthy of that.

It deserves that from you

وانْتَشِقْ مِنْ عَرْفِها ما

وانْتَشِقْ مِنْ عَرْفِها ما

قَدْ حَكَى طِيبَ شَذَاكا

قَدْ حَكَى طِيبَ شَذَاكا

And inhale from its fragrance what

And inhale from its fragrance what

has mirrored the sweetness of your scent.
