لاdo not تَرْهَبِfear الباطِلَfalsehood إنif كُنْتَyou are فيin
لا تَرْهَبِ الباطِلَ إن كُنْتَ في
حَقٍّthe right وإنْand even if قَلَّis scarce لَكَfor you النّاصِرُthe supporter
حَقٍّ وإنْ قَلَّ لَكَ النّاصِرُ
Do not fear falsehood if you are in
Do not fear falsehood if you are in the right
the right, even if you have few supporters.
Even if few are there to help you
فظُلْمَةُfor the darkness الليْلِof the night إذَاwhen أحْلَوْلَكَتْgrows pitch-black
فظُلْمَةُ الليْلِ إذَا أحْلَوْلَكَتْ
فالصُّبْحُthen the dawn فيin أعْقابِهاits wake سَافِرُunveiled
فالصُّبْحُ في أعْقابِها سَافِرُ
For when the darkness of night grows pitch-black,
For the darkness of night, when it gathers
then dawn appears unveiled in its wake.
