لِصَبّكfor your lovesick lover فيin العِشقِlove حالٌa state غَريبstrange
لِصَبّك في العِشقِ حالٌ غَريب
وَماand not إِنindeed (emphatic) لَهاfor it فيin سِواهُanyone other than him ظُهورُan appearance
وَما إِن لَها في سِواهُ ظُهورُ
Your lovesick lover has a strange state in love,
Your passion has a strange state,
And it appears in no one other than him.
It appears not anywhere else.
تَفانىhe wasted away حمّfever-stricken (uncertain reading) كَكَفّlike a hand’s palm
تَفانى حمّ كَكَفّ
عَلىon الأَرضِthe ground مَقطوعsevered رأسٍa head يدورُhe spins
عَلى الأَرضِ مَقطوع رأسٍ يدورُ
He wasted away, fever-stricken (uncertain reading), like a hand,
Your fervor dies down
On the ground, headless, he spins.
Like a severed head rolling on the ground.
