would a vocal creature fall silent from song and warbling?

Why do I see them not flying, though they,

even if clipped of wing, still beat their wings?

no marvel: the son of sparrowhawks is a sparrowhawk.

your affliction will seem small when you are distressed.

my master, no speaker can fully describe its reward.

a successor whose qualities have been found pleasing.

and to increase your reward, encompassed by grace,

and to lodge him in Paradise, near His presence,

where palaces of pearls are built for him,

and may a rain of mercy water the grave that holds him,

turning him within it, while he is immersed in that mercy,

for all time, as long as fertilizing winds blow,

    and flashing clouds rain after the lightning;

likewise, as long as Ibn Fath Allah asks, saying:

Why has the world turned black, though no night has fallen?
