We have eyes gazing toward glory,

And tongues speaking in praise of glory,

And resolve sincere in winning glory.

We have souls enamored of attaining glory,

And even if they ceased yearning, we would spill them upon the spears.

Glory takes pride in the high and low among us.

Glory arises only from our virtues.

Glory drinks only from our watering places.

Glory lodges only in our dwellings,

Like sleep, which has no abode but the eyes.
