    Trust in Him who bestows blessings.

    And seek Him always, and ask Him.

    And surrender to Him, and rely on Him.

    Never sit at the door of one

    who denies you entry to his house.

    Do not be deluded there in his presence,

    showing submission before him,

    ignorantly relying on him,

    يَعوقُها إِنْ لَم أُدارِهْ

    and saying, ‘My needs depend on him;

    he obstructs them unless I placate him.’

    Can he obstruct them, O splendid one,

    if your Lord willed them within reach?

    فَاِتركْ وَجانِب ربَّها

    And God fulfills the difficult ones among them;

    so leave, and shun that house’s master.

    They will be fulfilled, though the house’s master is unwilling.
