الشّريفُthe nobleman الشبّاكُal-Shabbak حاويpossessor of المَعاليlofty virtues
الشّريفُ الشبّاكُ حاوي المَعالي
مَنone who لَهُfor him بِالكَمالِwith perfection حُسنُbeauty of اِشتِباكِintertwining
مَن لَهُ بِالكَمالِ حُسنُ اِشتِباكِ
The noble al-Shabbak, bearer of lofty virtues,
The noble youth, repository of virtues,
who is beautifully entwined with perfection,
Whose perfection vies in excellence,
حَبكَhe wove المَجدglory فَوقَupon مِنوالِa loom of عزٍّhonor
حَبكَ المَجد فَوقَ مِنوالِ عزٍّ
فَدَعتهُso it called him العَلياءُlofty eminence بِالحَبّاكِby the name 'the Weaver'
فَدَعتهُ العَلياءُ بِالحَبّاكِ
wove glory upon a loom of honor,
Glory embraced him beyond bounds of honor,
so lofty eminence called him 'the Weaver.'
So the exalted called him the weaver.
