وَالرّوضُ بِالزّهرِ أَبدى حُسَن حليتِهِ
Spring has come, and winter has turned away in flight.
Spring has come and winter has fled away
And the garden, with flowers, has revealed the beauty of its adornment.
The garden in blossom shows its beauty
وَالبانُand the bān tree فيهِwithin it لَقَدindeed وافىhas arrived يُبَشِّرناbringing us glad tidings
وَالبانُ فيهِ لَقَد وافى يُبَشِّرنا
أَماdo … not? تَراهُyou see it أَراناhas shown us قَلبَthe turning inside out فَروَتهِof its fur coat
أَما تَراهُ أَرانا قَلبَ فَروَتهِ
And the bān tree within it has indeed arrived, bringing us glad tidings.
The nightingale in it has come to give us good news
Do you not see it? It has shown us its fur coat turned inside out.
Don't you see it showing us the richness of its heart
