فَرَعَتهُ عَيني وَاِرتَضت بِفَنائِها
Sleeplessness was sown in my eye through love for him.
With my eyelashes his meadow was sown
So my eye tended it and consented to its own destruction.
My eyes grazed it, and were content to fade for it

And so that it may endure, my eyes have begun
And so that my eyes might endure, they began
to weep and water it throughout time with their tears.
To weep, and water it through time with their tears
