مُحمّدُ بنُ سليمانٍ دَعاهُ إِلى

مُحمّدُ بنُ سليمانٍ دَعاهُ إِلى

جواره ربُّه ذو الفضل والرِّفْدِ

جواره ربُّه ذو الفضل والرِّفْدِ

Muhammad ibn Sulayman was summoned to

Muhammad son of Suleiman, his Lord of bounty and grace

His presence by his Lord, possessor of grace and bounty.

Called him to be by His side, so he raced

فَجادَ بِالنّفسِ حُبّاً في الجِوارِ وَقَد

فَجادَ بِالنّفسِ حُبّاً في الجِوارِ وَقَد

أَقامَ أرِّخْ بِهِ في جنَّةِ الخُلدِ

أَقامَ أرِّخْ بِهِ في جنَّةِ الخُلدِ

So he gave up his soul, out of love for nearness, and has

To give his soul in love of that place

Settled—record the date by this—in the Garden of Eternity.

And took his dwelling in the garden of eternity, record his date
