إِنَّindeed ربّيmy Lord بِرفقهِin His gentleness
إِنَّ ربّي بِرفقهِ
مَنَّbestowed favor فَضلاًgraciously برزقهِwith His provision
مَنَّ فَضلاً برزقهِ
Indeed, my Lord, in His gentleness,
My Lord in His kindness
Has graciously bestowed His provision.
Has bestowed His grace and bounty
كَمhow often أُناديI call out وَحقِّهِby His sacred right
كَم أُنادي وَحقِّهِ
ياO لَطيفاًgentle One بِخَلقِهِwith His creation
يا لَطيفاً بِخَلقِهِ
How often I call out, by His sacred right:
How often do I call upon His right
O One gentle with His creation!
O Gentle One in His creation
أَنتَYou تُعطيgive وَتَمنَعُand withhold
أَنتَ تُعطي وَتَمنَعُ
أَنتَYou رَبّيmy Lord وَمُوجديand my Creator
أَنتَ رَبّي وَمُوجدي
You give and withhold.
You give and You withhold
You are my Lord and my Creator.
You are my Lord and my Maker
أَنتَYou فيin الدَّهرِtime مَقصِديmy goal
أَنتَ في الدَّهرِ مَقصِدي
فَخُذِso take الدّهرَfor all time فيin يَديmy hand
فَخُذِ الدّهرَ في يَدي
You are my goal throughout time.
You are, in time, my goal
So take my hand for all time,
So take time in Your hand
ياO إِلَهيmy God وَسَيِّديand my Master
يا إِلَهي وَسَيِّدي
دُلَّنيguide me كَيفَhow أَصنَعُI act
دُلَّني كَيفَ أَصنَعُ
O my God and my Master,
O my God and my Master
