I praise you as though I were the nightingale when

Spring comes and it gives forth its finest song.

And the blossoms praise the garden, lush with them,

With tongues of perfume—of fragrance and wafting scent.

And through my praise, there now joins me in praising you,

At praise’s hour, the tongue of praise and acclaim.
