فإنْ رُمتَ أن تنجو فكن خيرَ صامتِ
I have seen calamities bound to speech.
I saw afflictions had been tied to one who speaks
So if you seek to escape, then be the best of those who keep silent.
So if you wish safety, be the best silent one

For how often they have sentenced a speaker to death for his speech!
For how many were ruled for murder due to the speech of a speaker
And in religious law they have attributed no ruling to one who is silent.
Yet they ascribed no ruling in law for the silent one
