His countenance is a garden radiant with beauty.
A garden it is, from beauty overflowing,
And every beauty has come to crown it.
Each charm, next morn, is there seen growing.
وَإِنّand indeed المَحاسِنَthe charms فيهِin it أَقامَتhave settled
فَصارَso it became فَريداًunique بِدونِwithout شَبيهِa peer
And indeed, charms have made their home in it.
The beauties sojourn in this place,
So it became unique, without a peer.
And lo! it is matchless in grace.

And there appeared to my eye, upon its roses,
To my eyes, on its roses I gazed,
—and record the date—cheek-down, which is the musk within it.
And perceived there a fragrance of musk being raised.
