حُسنُthe beauty اِحمِرارٍof a blush وَفيهاand upon it الخالُthe mole فتّانُbewitching
حُسنُ اِحمِرارٍ وَفيها الخالُ فتّانُ
How lovely his white cheek, suffused
with a beautiful blush, and upon it a bewitching mole!
كَأَنّهاas though it were مُقلَةٌan eye حَوراءُwith brilliant whites and a dark pupil خالَطَهاmingled with it
كَأَنّها مُقلَةٌ حَوراءُ خالَطَها
مِنfrom حُسنِهاits beauty شَكلةٌa reddish tinge وَالخالُand the mole إِنسانُa pupil
مِن حُسنِها شَكلةٌ وَالخالُ إِنسانُ
It is like a bright, dark-pupilled eye, tinged
with a lovely redness; the mole is its pupil.
