وَذاتُand a woman with وِشاحٍa sash بِالجَمالِwith beauty تَزيّنتadorned herself
وَذاتُ وِشاحٍ بِالجَمالِ تَزيّنت
وَفاقَتand excelled بِهِthrough it فيin زينَةِthe adornment of الثّغرِthe mouth وَالنّحرِand the throat
وَفاقَت بِهِ في زينَةِ الثّغرِ وَالنّحرِ
And a sash-wearing woman adorned herself with beauty,
And through it excelled in the adornment of mouth and throat.
تَحوزُshe possesses عَلىin حُسنٍbeauty عُقوداًnecklaces ثَلاثَةًthree
تَحوزُ عَلى حُسنٍ عُقوداً ثَلاثَةً
فَفيfor at نَحرِهاher throat عِقدa necklace وَعِقدانand two necklaces فيin الثّغرِthe mouth
فَفي نَحرِها عِقد وَعِقدان في الثّغرِ
In her beauty she bears three necklaces:
For at her throat is one necklace, and two are in her mouth.
