لِوَردٍ وَرَيحانٍ تقرُّ النّواظِرا
His face, the sun of beauty, has become dwelling places
Where the wandering eyes once traveled
for roses and sweet basil that delight the eyes.
Among roses and sweet basil they spied
فَصَيَّرتso I made فيهاin them الطرفَthe gaze منّيof mine مُسافراًa traveler
فَصَيَّرت فيها الطرفَ منّي مُسافراً
فَطرفِيَso my gaze فيin خَيرِthe finest of المَنازلِthe abodes سافراtraveled
فَطرفِيَ في خَيرِ المَنازلِ سافرا
So I made my gaze a traveler through them,
My gaze now journeys afar
and my gaze traveled through the finest abodes.
To the finest of dwellings it flies
