ياO حُسنَthe beauty of نارنجةٍan orange tree قدindeed أزهرتhas blossomed وزَهَتand grown radiant
يا حُسنَ نارنجةٍ قد أزهرت وزَهَت
وفوقَهاand above it ثمرٌfruit يحلوgrows lovely بهthrough it الوَرَقُthe leaves
وفوقَها ثمرٌ يحلو به الوَرَقُ
Oh, the beauty of an orange tree, blossoming and radiant!
And above it is fruit that makes the leaves more lovely.
وَقَدand indeed غَدَتit has become وَهيَwhile it تَزهوis resplendent مَنof زُمرُّدَةٍan emerald
وَقَد غَدَت وَهيَ تَزهو مَن زُمرُّدَةٍ
وَحَملُهاand what it bears الذّهبُgold الإِبريزُpure وَالوَرِقُand silver
وَحَملُها الذّهبُ الإِبريزُ وَالوَرِقُ
And now it stands resplendent, as though made of emerald,
And what it bears is pure gold and silver.
