ياO اِبْنَson of المَكارِمِnoble virtues والمَعاليand lofty honors والنّدىand generosity
يا اِبْنَ المَكارِمِ والمَعالي والنّدى
ياO مَنْyou who لهto him أهلُthose with المقاصدaspirations تَرتجيlook in hope
يا مَنْ له أهلُ المقاصد تَرتجي
O son of noble virtues, lofty honors, and generosity,
O you to whom those with aspirations look in hope,
مُذْever since كُنتَyou were لِلدّينِfor the faith العَليexalted علَماًa beacon بداthat appeared
مُذْ كُنتَ لِلدّينِ العَلي علَماً بدا
فَإِلَيكso to you فيin كُلِّevery الحَوائِجِneed تَلتَجيthey seek refuge
فَإِلَيك في كُلِّ الحَوائِجِ تَلتَجي
Ever since you emerged as a beacon for the exalted faith,
To you, then, they turn for refuge in every need.
