إِنْ رُمتموا أَن تَنصَحوا

فَأْتوا بِحسْن النُّصْحِ

If you wish to give counsel,

then offer good counsel.

لا تُفرِطوا في نُصْحكم

لا تُفرِطوا في نُصْحكم

إذْ فيه بعضُ القُبْحِ

إذْ فيه بعضُ القُبْحِ

Do not go to excess in your counsel,

for there is some ugliness in it.
