And a garden of tender, fresh narcissus
A garden of narcissus, fresh and bright,
Was filled with it, and it swayed upon the branches.
With dew filling its blossoms overnight.

So I said, “We tread upon you.” It said, “Gladly!
I said I'd trample its flowers, it replied,
And for my sake, place it upon my eyes.”
