وَباقَةُand a bouquet وَردٍroses يُدهِشُamazes العَقلَthe mind نَظمُهاits arrangement
وَباقَةُ وَردٍ يُدهِشُ العَقلَ نَظمُها
عَلىin حُسنِthe beauty of جَمعٍan assemblage مُحكَمِperfectly executed الضّبطِthe ordering وَالرّبطِand the binding
عَلى حُسنِ جَمعٍ مُحكَمِ الضّبطِ وَالرّبطِ
And a bouquet of roses—its arrangement amazes the mind,
A bouquet of roses, their arrangement astounds the mind
in a beautiful assemblage, perfectly ordered and bound.
With fine assembly, precise binding and connection
فَياand oh حُسنَهاits beauty كادَتit nearly تُضيءُshone كَأَنَّهاas though it were
فَيا حُسنَها كادَت تُضيءُ كَأَنَّها
شموسٌsuns وَأَقمارٌand moons تَنَظّمنَthey were strung together فيin سِمْطِa necklace
شموسٌ وَأَقمارٌ تَنَظّمنَ في سِمْطِ
And oh, how beautiful it is! It almost shone, as though it were
Oh their beauty, they almost shine as though
suns and moons strung together in a necklace.
