All creatures, my friend, perish and are lost.
The creation, O friend, is transient and lost
And no being endures except your Lord.
And nothing endures except your existing Lord

Have you not seen the honor of creation has departed
And all of them are buried in the belly of the earth.
And all of them are laid in the earth's bosom buried

Where, then, where have the noble sons gone?
Then where, where are the honorable sons gone
And where, where are the kings, illustrious and proud?
And where, where are the proud kings and the hunter

And since creatures have no lasting life,
And since ruins have no permanence for them
It is no wonder, then, that Khurshid did not remain.
It is no wonder if the palace remained not
