يهْنيكَ عامٌ بِهِ الأَفْراحُ قدْ ورَدَتْ

يهْنيكَ عامٌ بِهِ الأَفْراحُ قدْ ورَدَتْ

والخَيْرُ بالسّعْدِ فيهِ جاءَ منْ سَلَكَهْ

والخَيْرُ بالسّعْدِ فيهِ جاءَ منْ سَلَكَهْ

May a year in which joys have arrived gladden you.

A year of joy has come to congratulate you

And in it, goodness came with good fortune to whoever passed through it.

In which good fortune visits those who seek it

وَقَد أَتاكَ بِذَيْلِ الرّخص يَسْحَبُهُ

وَقَد أَتاكَ بِذَيْلِ الرّخص يَسْحَبُهُ

وَالرّفْقُ أَرّخت فيه الخَيْرُ والبَرَكَهْ

وَالرّفْقُ أَرّخت فيه الخَيْرُ والبَرَكَهْ

And it has come to you, dragging the train of low prices.

It has come to you trailing auspiciousness behind

And kindness—I marked its date: 'In it are goodness and blessing.'

In it, kindness has spread goodness and blessing
