وَأَغيدَand a graceful youth ليِّنِsupple الأَعطافِthe limbs ذيpossessing شَرفٍnobility
وَأَغيدَ ليِّنِ الأَعطافِ ذي شَرفٍ
قاسيhard الفُؤادِthe heart رَقيقِslender الخَصرِthe waist وَالعَطفِand the flank
قاسي الفُؤادِ رَقيقِ الخَصرِ وَالعَطفِ
And a graceful youth, supple of limb and noble,
Soft of body, proud of bearing
Hard of heart, slender of waist and flank.
Harsh of heart, slender of waist and limb
عِذارُهhis cheek-down المِسكُmusk فيin لَونٍcolor يُشابِهُهit resembles it
عِذارُه المِسكُ في لَونٍ يُشابِهُه
وَخالُهُand his beauty mark المِسكُmusk فيin عِطرٍperfume وفيand in عَرْفِfragrance
وَخالُهُ المِسكُ في عِطرٍ وفي عَرْفِ
His cheek-down is musk, resembling it in color;
His scent is musk in a hue that matches him
And his beauty mark is musk in perfume and fragrance.
His mole is musk in fragrance and in charm
