هَذا المَقامُ المُؤنِسُ

هَذا المَقامُ المُؤنِسُ

مَنْ حَلَّه يَستَأنِس

مَنْ حَلَّه يَستَأنِس

This is the solace-giving station;

This comforting shrine—

whoever alights there finds solace.

Whoever lodges there finds solace.

وَتَعمُّهُ بَرَكاتُهُ

وَتَعمُّهُ بَرَكاتُهُ

وَبِها يُحاطُ وَيُحرَس

وَبِها يُحاطُ وَيُحرَس

And its blessings seek him out;

And its blessings encompass him,

by them he is encompassed and guarded.

And by them he is surrounded and guarded.

فيهِ نَبيّ أَفخم

فيهِ نَبيّ أَفخم

وَهوَ اِبن متّى يونس

وَهوَ اِبن متّى يونس

Within it is a most august prophet,

Within it is a most majestic prophet,

Yunus, son of Matta.

And he is Yunus, son of Matta.

فَاِنزلهُ يُهدِكَ أُنسه

فَاِنزلهُ يُهدِكَ أُنسه

فَمَقامُ يُونُس يُونِس

فَمَقامُ يُونُس يُونِس

So alight there—its solace will guide you;

So lodge there; it will offer you its solace,

for the station of Yunus brings solace.

For Yunus's shrine brings solace.
