A lover's judgment of you was not mistaken,
The opinion of a lover about you, if wrong,
nor was his mind ever confused.
Cannot be, for his mind is unblemished forever.

Find merit in the soundness of his judgment,
Consider his view right and good,
and do not deem the lover's judgment an error.
And never assume your lover's opinion flawed.
