رَجُلُman الخّيرِof goodness لاnot أُصيبَmay he be afflicted بِسوءٍwith harm
رَجُلُ الخّيرِ لا أُصيبَ بِسوءٍ
وَحَماهُand may He protect him الإِلَهُGod مِنfrom كلِّevery ضَيْرِhurt
وَحَماهُ الإِلَهُ مِن كلِّ ضَيْرِ
May the man of goodness suffer no harm,
A good man is not struck by harm
And may God protect him from every hurt.
And God protected him from all adversity
يَتمنّىhe wishes أَنthat لاnot يُصابَbe afflicted سواهُanyone other than him
يَتمنّى أَن لا يُصابَ سواهُ
يتمنّىhe wishes لغيرهfor others besides himself كلَّevery خيرِgood
يتمنّى لغيره كلَّ خيرِ
He wishes that none but himself be afflicted;
He wishes no one else would be struck
He wishes every good for others.
He wishes for others all good things
