أَيا حَسَن الذّات باسم حميد

أَيا حَسَن الذّات باسم حميد

تَهَنّأ فَفيكَ السّرور تجدّد

تَهَنّأ فَفيكَ السّرور تجدّد

O fair of nature, bearing the name Hamid,

O you of beautiful essence, of a praised name,

Rejoice, for joy has been renewed in you.

Be congratulated, for in you happiness is made new.

أَتاكَ غُلامٌ سَعيدٌ رَشيد

أَتاكَ غُلامٌ سَعيدٌ رَشيد

عَلَيكَ بِهِ الدّهر يُثنى وَيحمد

عَلَيكَ بِهِ الدّهر يُثنى وَيحمد

A happy, rightly guided boy has come to you.

A fortunate, rightly-guided boy has come to you,

For him, Time praises and commends you.

Through him this age is praised and lauded.

يَعيشُ الحَميدُ بِعُمرٍ مَديد

يَعيشُ الحَميدُ بِعُمرٍ مَديد

بِعَيشٍ رَغيدٍ وَسَعدٍ مؤبّد

بِعَيشٍ رَغيدٍ وَسَعدٍ مؤبّد

May Hamid live a long life,

The praiseworthy lives a long life,

In ease and everlasting good fortune,

Of pleasant, carefree and enduring bliss,

بِسَعدِ السّعودِ وَوَقت سَعيد

بِسَعدِ السّعودِ وَوَقت سَعيد

وَأَرّخت جلَّ ظهور مُحمّد

وَأَرّخت جلَّ ظهور مُحمّد

With the fortune of fortunes and a happy hour.

With the joy of joys and auspicious times,

And I marked the date: 'Glorious was Muhammad’s appearance.'

And I date the prime of Muhammad's appearance.
