أَلا أَيّها الجَوهَرُ الفردُ حقّاً

أَلا أَيّها الجَوهَرُ الفردُ حقّاً

مُنِحتَ بِحِفظِ إلَه السّماءِ

مُنِحتَ بِحِفظِ إلَه السّماءِ

Behold, O truly peerless jewel,

O you who are truly unique essence

You have been blessed with the protection of the God of heaven.

You were granted protection by the God of heaven

شَكوتَ وَلطف إِلَهِ البَرايا

شَكوتَ وَلطف إِلَهِ البَرايا

يَحفُّكَ فَضلاً بِدونِ اِمتِراءِ

يَحفُّكَ فَضلاً بِدونِ اِمتِراءِ

You complained, while the kindness of the God of creation

You complained and the God of earth had mercy

Enfolds you graciously, beyond all doubt.

He endowed you with grace without contention

فَأَرقيكَ خِدْنَ العُلى بِاِسمِ رَبّي

فَأَرقيكَ خِدْنَ العُلى بِاِسمِ رَبّي

فَإِنَّ اِسمَهُ مِن أَجَلِّ الدواءِ

فَإِنَّ اِسمَهُ مِن أَجَلِّ الدواءِ

So I recite a healing prayer over you, companion of eminence, in my Lord's name,

So I raise you to the highest of heights in the name of my Lord

For His name is among the noblest remedies.

For His name is among the best of remedies

وَقاكَ إِلَهي مِن كلِّ سوءٍ

وَقاكَ إِلَهي مِن كلِّ سوءٍ

شَفاكَ وَعافاكَ مِن كلِّ داءِ

شَفاكَ وَعافاكَ مِن كلِّ داءِ

May my God protect you from every harm,

And my God protected you from all evil

Heal you and keep you free from every illness.

He healed you and restored you from every malady

وَإِنِّي أُهنّيك يا دُرَّ عزٍّ

وَإِنِّي أُهنّيك يا دُرَّ عزٍّ

بما نلتَ من صحّةٍ وشفاءِ

بما نلتَ من صحّةٍ وشفاءِ

And indeed I congratulate you, O pearl of glory,

And I congratulate you, O pearl of might

On the health and healing you have attained,

For what you attained of health and healing

وَأَنْ زالَ عَنك الّذي كنتَ تَشكو

وَأَنْ زالَ عَنك الّذي كنتَ تَشكو

فَشُكراً لِرَبّي بِحُسنِ الثّناءِ

فَشُكراً لِرَبّي بِحُسنِ الثّناءِ

And that what you used to complain of has left you.

And what you used to complain of has left you

So thanks to my Lord, with beautiful praise.

So thanks to my Lord with excellent praise

وَدُم بِأَمانِ اللَّهِ مُعافىً

وَدُم بِأَمانِ اللَّهِ مُعافىً

بِعافِيةٍ غَير ذاتِ اِنتِهاءِ

بِعافِيةٍ غَير ذاتِ اِنتِهاءِ

And remain in God's protection, in good health,

And remain in God's safety, in good health

With well-being that knows no end,

With health that has no end

مَدى الدّهرِ ما البرقُ أَومَضَ ليلاً

مَدى الدّهرِ ما البرقُ أَومَضَ ليلاً

وَبدر الدّياجي بَدا بِالضّياءِ

وَبدر الدّياجي بَدا بِالضّياءِ

Throughout time, as long as lightning flashes at night,

As long as the lightning flashes at night

And the full moon of dark nights emerges in radiance.

And the full moon appears with radiance
