تَحَمَّليcarry ريحَهُمtheir scent رَيحَO wind الصّباthe east wind لشفاfor healing
تَحَمَّلي ريحَهُم رَيحَ الصّبا لشفا
مَجروحِone wounded قَلبٍat heart وَتحييand revive قَلبَa heart مَجروحِwounded
مَجروحِ قَلبٍ وَتحيي قَلبَ مَجروحِ
Carry their scent, O east wind, to heal
Bear their scent, O breeze of the morn, that their air may heal
one wounded at heart, and revive a wounded heart.
A wounded heart, and enliven a wounded heart;
وَعَرّجيand turn aside كلَّevery يَومٍday نَحوَهُtoward him كَرماًout of kindness
وَعَرّجي كلَّ يَومٍ نَحوَهُ كَرماً
فَقَدfor indeed رضيتُI have been content مِنَfrom الأَحبابِthe loved ones بِالريحِwith the scent
فَقَد رضيتُ مِنَ الأَحبابِ بِالريحِ
And turn toward him each day, out of kindness,
And turn thy steps each day with grace towards it,
for I am content with the scent of my loved ones.
For I am content with the loved ones' wind.
