With the auspicious birth of the one who brings happiness and generosity

فبورك مولوداً وبوركت من أبٍ

كريم خلال سامي القدر والهمم

So may he be blessed as a newborn, and you be blessed as a father,

So congratulations on the newborn and congratulations to the father

Noble in character, lofty in standing and aspirations.

فتى البر ابراهيم اكرم به فتى

أديباً لبيباً فضله غير مكتتم

Ibrahim, a youth of goodness—how noble a youth he is!

The young man of righteousness, Ibrahim, ennobled with a young man

Cultured and discerning, his merit is no secret.

Cultured, intelligent, his virtue not concealed

أخا الفضل يا ذا الفضل دمت مهنئاً

أخا الفضل يا ذا الفضل دمت مهنئاً

ليهنك هذا الابن لا زلت في نعم

ليهنك هذا الابن لا زلت في نعم

Brother of virtue, O man of virtue, may you ever offer congratulations.

O brother of virtue, may you always be congratulating

May this son bring you joy; may you never cease to dwell amid blessings.

As this son continues to bring you joy

يقر به عيناك ربي تفضلاً

يقر به عيناك ربي تفضلاً

ويحفظه من حادث الدهر إن ألم

May my Lord, in His grace, gladden your eyes through him,
