My sorrow has not lifted, yet I

show them what they know me for.

Like an emaciated man whose body betrayed him,

so he drew people's attention to his garment.

And a young man may be smiling,

while all his sorrow lies in his heart.

And he whose companions have seen his humiliation

may then be held in little regard by his companions.
