ما الحبُّ إلا أنسُ كلِّ امرئٍ

لو كانَ يدري الناسُ ما الأنسُ

لو كانَ يدري الناسُ ما الأنسُ

Love is nothing but companionship for every person,

What is love but the joy of every soul

if people only knew what companionship is.

If people only knew what that joy is

ولو درى كلُّ الورى فضلهُ

ولو درى كلُّ الورى فضلهُ

لهامَ فيِهِ الجنُّ والأنسُ

لهامَ فيِهِ الجنُّ والأنسُ

And if all creation knew its worth,

If all creation knew his excellence

jinn and humankind would be enamored of it.

Jinn and mankind alike would yearn for his love
