فإلى كم هذا النمنّعُ فيكا
I am content with everything that pleases you.
I am satisfied with all that pleases you
How long, then, will this aloofness of yours last?
Why this refusal in you?

What I have suffered is enough for me—who is there for me?
What I have gotten is enough for me
Indeed, what I have suffered is enough for you.
What I have gotten should be enough for you

But I fear that it would make you weep.
Though I fear it would make you weep

O beauty's king, you are enthroned
Of my heart, have taken your seat as king.

By my life, no king has been cruel
With yourself without seeing him as a pauper.
To a subject as I've seen you

Love has kept my eyes sleepless, and I have been shunned
Love has put my eyes to sleep and dried my eyelids
By those who comfort the sorrowful, save the rooster.
Who consoles the sad but the rooster?

If I say "Oh!" from the pain of passion

Do I have a loyal heart among them?
